Ife
Land Economy, University of Cambridge
I’m Ife, a second-year Land Economy student at the University of Cambridge.
My involvement in committees such as the African-Caribbean Society and Cambridge Access and Outreach Society has shaped my passion for diversity and inclusivity.
I joined U-Belong as it gives me a chance to ensure my research and my own contributions directly impact marginalized individuals struggling to find community and belonging at university. I am excited to collaborate with universities and other passionate students to help create inclusive environments particularly for marginalized communities in order to ensure students' success in higher level education.
I am also eager to develop my research skills in time for my final year dissertation!

Max
Psychology, Royal Holloway
I'm Max and I study psychology, I have always wanted to study psychology in order to better understand myself and others in my life. Outside of this, I have been interested in mental health for years now and being able to be part of a team that researches it so early in my career feels like a massive privilege. I cannot wait to help be a part of this research to support young people like me.

Jasmine
Interdisciplinary Studies, University of Edinburgh
I’m Jasmine, and I study Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Edinburgh. I joined U-Belong because having experienced loneliness and poor mental health at University, I believe it is so important that we seek innovative ways to promote belonging and a better sense of community. As a member of the Student Engagement Strategy Group for the Curriculum Transformation Project at Edinburgh, I am especially passionate about integrating wellbeing into the curriculum, and ensuring student voices and experiences are at the heart of decision making, so I’m excited to see how U-Belong can inform my work in this area.

Finty
Medicine, The University of Lancaster
I joined the U-Belong Student Research Team mainly because of my lived experience. As an autistic individual, I know what it feels like to be lonely and like you don't belong. I want to use the passion and knowledge that comes from this past experience to be part of the movement towards tackling youth loneliness. I'm really excited about this work and look forward to being part of the team.

Euan
Politics and International relations, University College London
Hi, I’m Euan, and I study Politics and International relations at UCL. Once I moved to London, I became increasingly interested in researching student belonging within university life, particularly surrounding whether or not a student’s economic position before enrollment may have a correlation with engaging fully in different social events that university offers. The U-belong Student Research Team seemed an invaluable opportunity for pursuing this interest.
